Behaviour Policy – Children’s Art Classes Please read and Agree

To ensure a safe, creative, and enjoyable environment for all participants, we ask that children attending our art classes adhere to the following behaviour guidelines:

  1. Children are expected to treat instructors, staff, and fellow participants with respect and kindness at all times.
  2. Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour (including but not limited to bullying, use of inappropriate language, or refusal to follow reasonable instructions) will not be tolerated.
  3. Children must follow all safety instructions, particularly when using art materials and equipment.
  4. Any intentional damage to equipment, materials, or property may result in the parent/guardian being held responsible for repair or replacement costs.
  5. Parents/guardians will be informed of any ongoing behavioural concerns. We reserve the right to ask a child to leave a session if their behaviour is deemed unsafe or significantly disruptive.
  6. In cases of repeated or serious misconduct, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate a child’s place in the class without refund.
  7. We encourage a positive and supportive atmosphere where all children feel comfortable expressing their creativity.

By enrolling your child in our classes, you acknowledge and agree to these behaviour expectations.

We are committed to supporting as many children as possible through creative activities and providing a positive, inclusive environment. However, please note that we are not behaviour specialists, trauma-trained practitioners, or qualified art therapists. While we strive to accommodate a wide range of needs, there may be certain behaviours that are challenging to manage effectively within a group setting.

If you have any concerns regarding your child’s behaviour or individual needs, we encourage you to contact us in advance. We will do our best to discuss suitable arrangements and explore options that best support your child’s participation.
